Jasper Johns: Mind/Mirror
at the Whitney

He started in 1954 with American flags, breaking from the raw emotion and radical gestures of Abstract Expressionism to make art with symbols all viewers could understand. He then added many other marks --cross-hatches, skulls, forks and spoons, the Mona Lisa, family photos, coffee cans -- to present grand paintings, intriguing sculptures and smaller prints that welcome our immediate interpretation. In a protean career spanning 66 years, Jasper Johns, 91, is widely acclaimed as the most important American artist working today.

We at Heart of the Art NYC are uniquely positioned to deconstruct this breathtaking, heady, career-capping retrospective, making it accessible for you to appreciate and enjoy.

A two-hour tour, including two tickets, is $349. Additional tickets available. Contact us today.
